Using Veracrypt 1.24-Beta5 on Windows 10 x64 version 1909 on a MBR SSD drive.
Recently updated my Windows 10 from 1903 to 1909. I had to unencrypt my system drive. Now I'm trying re-encrypt. When I click "Test" to reboot and test it pops up the error message "Access is denied. Source: Veracrypt::File::Write:946". I've tried this as THE administrator with the same result.
Related (or not): When decrypting the drive I received a similiar error when it attempted to remove the bootloader. Leaving me with the system encryption removed but the veracrypt bootloader still there and no way to remove the veracrypt bootloader. I wound up using a Windows install disc to restore the windows bootloader.
