First time posting here. I need help finding a solution on how to save my files encrypted with VeraCrypt 1.25.9 . Here's some info that might help pinpoint the problem:
OS: Windows 11
Drive: 2TB NVME formatted as NTFS
Encryption: Whole drive as non-system partition/drive, Algorithms AES, SHA-512
Password Length: 20 characters
I used this drive many times with my password and never had a problem until a few days ago. It comes back with a error code 9170 indicating either incorrect password, volume PIM, PRF, or invalid volume. I tried al i could but unable to get to my files.
I really can't afford to lose them. Any help is appreciated.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
First things first: if you don't have a backup, just for future reference: always have a backup of important data. This is a MUST, independed of VeraCrypt.
Now to your issue: you can try to use the integrated backup header of your volume. It's an option before mounting. In case the main header of your volume got corrupted, but the backup header is intact, you would be able to mount your volume. If it works, you should create a backup of your data and start over with a new volume (and maybe a new storage media) since the volume got corrupted by some incident.
In case this does not work, you can try to use your backed up header file (you created one, right??) to try to mount your volume.
Other than this, you will face a hard time with a corrupted volume.

If you have removed the disc, there is probably no contact with the disc. Check the connection.
