I booted up my PC today, went throught the veracrypt boot loader screen, and input my windows password only to find that my password no longer works. I've tried all the standard troubleshooting steps and I have no recovery method.

So my question is: how do I perform a clean install of windows on my now encrypted drive?

It's worth mentioning I do have an installation cd.

If you have recovery flash it is possible to restore header and try to boot with original password (at the moment of recovery flash created)

Note: Do not decrypt from recovery flash version 1.19! It requires update.

To install fresh windows - start installation and select your volume encrypted as destination.
