****filename generates==> Error while copying mesage

Hi,
**Using VC 1.24-Hotfix on Ubu 16.04.06 on external nvme hd device.

ISSUE: When copying/moving a file/folder beginning with "asterik(s)"

, error message is generated:

=====>see attachment.!

and YES even if file-extension is there..applies to anything begining with asterik

However, on a "normal" usb device W/O vc sw, asteriks get converted to underscore:
Ex. **Booking_Print.pdf converts to __Booking_Print.pdf

Any suggestions/soutions? Pease advise!
