I suppose that the vast majority of VC users is very satisfied with its behaviour. So let's keep it as it is.

Using 1.21 or 1.22 Beta 3 version, you can store the PIM using Favorites.

AFAIK No. Consider it to be a second PW to make it a little bit more secure.

Well... that's why I'm still using TrueCrypt, and quite a few users do the same.
That will be alright for the next 2-3 years, then You should switch to VC. See You then.
