I've been using VeraCrypt for eons, both on Linux and Windows. Now, I may need a system to protect an Ipad.
So, my question is quite simple: can VeraCrypt be used on an Ipad?
Sorry if the answer to this question is already available somewhere on the forum ... I just didn't find it.

VeraCrypt can't be used to encrypt the iPad itself. However, if your goal is to use VeraCrypt containers on an iPad, Disk Decipher may be worth a look as it provides container support on iPadOS.
Full disclosure: I’m the developer of Disk Decipher, so I’m not an entirely neutral source. I mention it because it seems to match the specific use case you described.

Thanks, much appreciated ... I'll look into it.
