Veracrypt 1.26.7 rejects either the volume password or the Ubuntu 22.04.3 administrator password (I cannot tell which) on a Mount. Truecrypt does Mount that volume on the same Ubuntu 22 computer. Veracrupt on my Windows 10 system, my Raspberry Pi computer, and my Ubuntu 20 system Mounts that .tc volume with no problems. How should I diagnose this?

VeraCrypt version 1.26.7 has discontinued support for TrueCrypt Mode, as stated in its release notes: VeraCrypt Release Notes.

It's likely that you are using an older version of VeraCrypt on Windows, Raspberry Pi, or Ubuntu 20, which is why you're still able to mount volumes in TrueCrypt Mode.

You can easily convert your volume to VeraCrypt's native format on any system where the older VeraCrypt version is installed. Detailed steps for doing so are provided in the following link: Converting TrueCrypt Volumes and Partitions.

When converting to VeraCrypt's native format, make sure you choose a PKCS-5 PRF option other than "RIPEMD-160." The documentation linked above features a screenshot that uses HMAC-Whirlpool, which is acceptable, but you are free to choose other options.
