Volume "header" dissapeared, if I'm using that term correctly? I've had an encrypted container on a USB stick for some time now, never had any issues. Plugged it in to my computer and went to mount it in VeraCrypt. Found the USB drive, but no container file. It's just empty. Windows still shows the usb stick is almost full of data, 63 of 64GB or so, so I know the data is still there. I just can't access it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Ok, I tried Recuva and found a .chk file from my usb drive. I recovered the .chk file to my desktop since I got a warning message to not recover it to the same place, or something along those lines. Just for shits and giggles I mounted the .chk file in VeraCrypt and lo and behold, when I opened it all of my folders were there, just most of the folders didn't have individual files in them. Just one folder, oddly.
What should be my next course of action? Recover that .chk file to the usb stick and try mounting it in VeraCrypt again?
