I don't know what the bloody h3ll Veracrypt is doing, but it's annoying the living daylights out of me, and I'm ready to kill the program. I needed to decrypt the OS my laptop so I can send it in for repair. The system decrypted, but the bootloader (DSCBOOT) that asks for a password REFUSES to go away on reboot.
I have tried booting from the Veracrypt Rescue Disk with UEFI Disabled and selecting option K to remove bootloader. I have tried restoring OS Boot. I have tried to delete the bootloader with EASYUEFI.
No matter what I do, the PASSWORD and PIM prompt bootloader WILL NOT disappear and keeps prompting me for a password on reboot. I have to hit ESC to go past it and allow windows to boot.
How do I rid myself of the Bootloader once and for all? I DO NOT WANT a password Prompt and PIM Prompt being generated on Every Reboot where I have to then hit ESC to boot to windows! Veracrypt tells me the system disk is unencrypted, so why won't the Prompt Go Away?
General FYI: Under msconfig on Windows, the ONLY item listed under boot is Windows 10. I believe past editions, I had to delete Veracrypt here. Not the case now.
SO PLEASE HELP ME! How do I remove the Password / Pim Prompt from appearing on every reboot?

Image #2 - Verycrypt acknowledging my System Disk IS NOT ENCRYPTED!
I believe the issue may have been related to a process running in
services. As the computer would boot once, then reinstall the password /
pim. After about 5 days, and breaking my acer f10 advanced boot repair
feature, here's what I cam across.
DiskGenius to go to EFi Folder. Rename bootmgr.efi to
bootmgr.egi.old. And then rename the bootmgr.efi.vc to bootmgr.efi
rename bootx64.efi to bootx64.efi old. Rename bootx64.efi.vc to
bootx64.efi
Services.msc and disable the system Service veracrypt system favorite.
Run cmd as administrator
list vol
sel vol (select the 100mb EFI)
assign letter V: (or any letter that isn't taken)
exit
cd /d /V:
cd efi
rmdir Veracrypt
Reboot computer and enter bios. Set boot password and disable UEFI.
I can't say for certain if simply disabling the service veracrypt system
favorites would resolve without all the other fanfare. Maybe removing the
EFI with diskgenius disabling the service would work after decrypting the
OS.. However, I needed to send my laptop off for repair and had already
screwed with it for 5 days. What I did above solved, be it the long way or
not.
