Has anyone been able to find a way to open volumes in XFCE? I am using Arch and installed Veracrypt, I am able to create an encrypted container, i can mount it fine as well, but when i go to try and open it I get an error stating "Unable to find a file manager to open the mounted volume". I have tried to open existing containers that open just fine in Windows but will not open in XFCE.
I think i read somewhere that the LInux version of Veracrypt looks for Nautilus (Gnome) as the file manager and since XFCE uses Thunar it does not recognize it as a valid file manager. Is this still the case? I thought this was the case with an older version of Veracrypt and had since been fixed? I disabled the option to "Open Explorer window for successfully mounted volume" but that only prevents it from trying to open the volume automatically, i still get the error when i try to open it manually...
    Thanks

    Hi,

New version of VeraCrypt uses the standard "xdg-open" when not running under Gnome or KDE (https://sourceforge.net/p/veracrypt/code/ci/master/tree/src/Main/UserInterface.cpp#l877).
From your description, it looks like the xdg-open command is missing from Arch. If you install it,
you will be able to open volume from VeraCrypt GUI.

Regardless of VeraCrypt GUI, you can always open mounted volumes manually using your file manager.
