After mounting. Am prompted to format. Can someone help me to troubleshoot and fix this problem.

If you're on windows, you need to go to 'Diskmanager' and remove the drive letter from your encrypted drive(s). You won't see the drive anymore in MyComputer, but you'll see it in VC's mount window, which is where you really should be accessing an encryted drive anyway.
