I was running veracrypt just fine for several months. I was using a general install with standard settings. When the Windows 10 build 1903 was released it refused to install with Veracrypt installed. When I unencrypted the system and uninstalled veracrypt is left behind the password screen. If I simply hit ESC twice it bypasses it and continutes to load the OS.
How do I remove that password screen completely?
I am very inexperienced with encryption so forgive me if this is a novice question. I have the feeling my issue isnt related to VeraCrypt itself and if so I apologize for my ignorance there as well.
Thank you,
Chris Dashiells

Did you reboot after decrypting was complete and then uninstall Veracrypt after the reboot?
I had this happen once when I did not reboot immediately after decryption. I decrypted fully, then uninstalled Veracrypt, and rebooted. I got the password entry screen and could bypass with escape. Once I reinstalled Veracrypt and uninstalled it, the password screen was gone.

One more thought: since your OS is currently in a decrypted state (as you note), if resintalling and uninstalling the Veracrypt program does not eliminate the password screen, simply use your MS Windows setup CD/DVD to repair your Windows installation. That too will eliminate the password screen and allow you to boot normally into Windows. DO NOT USE this method if you are not in a decrypted state.
