When trying to mount an encrypted USB device on FreeBSD 13.2, after I type the decryption password, this error occurs:

mount: /dev/md0: Invalid fstype: Invalid argument

I don't remember what filesystem type it has - I rely on automatic detection, and right now I don't have another computer available to mount it. I know it could be either ext3 or exfat.

Veracrypt was installed from the pre-built package security/veracrypt using pkg.

    Things I tried:

    • Installing the version distributed in the Veracrypt Downloads page, but it behaves the same way.
    • Installing filesystem and FUSE packages, such as e2fsprogs, fusefs-exfat, fusefs-ext2. No matter what, the only filesystem types that are available for volume creation are FAT and UFS.

    Version 1.25.9
