    Hi there.
After a Windows 11 system restore I'm not able to mount my Veracrypt encrypted volume with it's hidden volume.
Strangely I can mount the outer volume with it's password (it excepts it), but not the hidden volume with it's other password (I receve the 8998 error).
Could it be that restoring a system restore point Win11 messed somehow the hidden volume leaving the outer volume intact?
P.s. I'm not sure if it's of any help to the case, but once or twice when I was able to mount the hidden volume with it's pw and used the outer volume I received the message that Veracrypt prevented damage to the hidden volume as I always used the "Protect the Hidden Volumes Against Damage" option.

    Thank you.

No one has a clue if that could be the case?

By the way I have the very same version of Veracrypt, I never updated it (it's version 1.26.20 portable)

I don’t want to be presumptuous or come across as having bad manners, but this forum/community hasn’t been as helpful as I’d hoped.
