I don’t want to be presumptuous or come across as having bad manners, but this forum/community hasn’t been as helpful as I’d hoped.
Hi there. After a Windows 11 system restore I'm not able to mount my Veracrypt encrypted volume with it's hidden volume. Strangely I can mount the outer volume with it's password (it excepts it), but not the hidden volume with it's other password (I receve the 8998 error). Could it be that restoring a system restore point Win11 messed somehow the hidden volume leaving the outer volume intact? P.s. I'm not sure if it's of any help to the case, but once or twice when I was able to mount the hidden...
No one has a clue if that could be the case? By the way I have the very same version of Veracrypt, I never updated it (it's version 1.26.20 portable)

Huh...I wasn't expecting a lack of interaction on the topic.
I guess another way to understand the difference would be with the answers I would get to this question: "Why have you chosen to use the hidden partition instead of using just the normal encrypted one"?
