The monitor of my Thinkpad remains black, just the Veracrypt screen and "Windows Starting" are appearing, after a graphics driver update. So I want to start in Safe Mode, F8, to remove this driver. Plugged in the Rescue Disk 1.24-Update 6-Permanently decrypt system drive-Decrypt now? y-Drive decrypted. During boot up, Veracrypt screen displayed again!! Rescue Disc was removed before. Repeated above mentioned procedure-result as mentioned above. The hardware seems to be ok, according to a DVD Linux Live system. Therefore I cannot boot into Safe Mode. How to solve this problem? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I started the machine again, Veracrypt Bootloader-Password-Enter-F8-Safe Mode started! Removed driver. Started Veracrypt, it displayed:" Decryption planned. Process not finished. Want to continue? " (My abbreviated translation.) Yes. Immediately decryption was confirmed. After reboot the machine behaved as expected. Resume: Decryption via Rescue Disc not working.
