After following some guides specific for HP and DELL laptops, I've been
able to succesfully encrypt my system partition. Thanks for this wonderful
tool!
Everything seems to work fine, but I noticed that during Windows boot
(especially just after typing the Windows password) the CPU usage goes very
high. I know that because my laptop's fan starts to spin at high speed
making loud noise, and this never happened before during system startup,
everything was silent and smooth. After 1 or 2 minutes CPU usage is back to
normal and the fan stops spinning.
I have a laptop with i7 7500U (which supports AES hardware acceleration), I
wonder if the CPU has now more workload during normal computer usage due to
this, or if should look somewhere else for the cause.
Thanks for any help!
