Hello all. I have several documents of sensitive information used for work that I would like to keep as secure as possible and I intend to use a VeraCrypt hidden volume for this.
For plausible deniability I intend to add a few files to the outer volume as recommended. I do not live in a country that can coerce passwords, so I wanted to make it as difficult as possible to access/brute force the hidden volume by differentiating the encryption methods between the outer and hidden volumes.
Say for example I used standard AES and SHA on the outer volume (which I don't mind if it is discovered), and then for the hidden volume changed it by using AES+Twofish+Serpent and Whirlpool. Speed isn't an issue here, only security.
Would this be a possible and advisable way of using a hidden volume, or is it more advised to stick to the same methods of encryption for both for security's sake?

Many thanks for any advice.
