    Greetings,
I'm running Windows Vista x64 and when I try to install VeraCrypt 1.25.9, it gets all the way to the end of the installation and then says "Installation failed" and it rolls back the installation.

When I use the portable version, I can use it once and it works fine, but a pop-up window comes up saying that veracrypt-x64.sys is not digitally signed and will be disabled. After that, when I try to use the program I get two error boxes:
1st: "The system cannot find the file specified. Source: wWinMain:10070"
2nd: "Unable to connect to the VeraCrypt device driver. VeraCrypt cannot work if the
    device driver is not running.
Please note that, due to a Windows issue, it may be necessary to log off or
restart the system before the device driver can be loaded."

I tried restarting the system, but it doesn't help.

If I rename the VeraCrypt portable folder, I can load the program again with no problem but only once. When I exit the program and use it again, I get the same errors as mentioned above.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have Microsoft update patches KB4039648 AND KB4474419 installed, but I get the same problems as I mentioned above. At first I only had KB4039648 installed. I thought maybe I also needed KB4474419, so I installed it too. Now my system should be able to read the digital certificates with no problem. When I inspect the certificates of the veracrypt.exe and veracrypt-x64.sys files, it says that the certificates are OK. Not sure what's wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
