Please help!

So i ran the pretest, and when my computer did not restart back on, I manually powered it back on. It then prompted me to put in my password, which I did. It then says "authorizing", "success", and then gets stuck at "Start 0 407896064 len 0." So I then reset my computer and when i pressed escape to skip the login, i just got all this stuf about verifying things, then the last thing pops up, "no bootfile found." It then goes and resets. I am able to boot the rescue usb, but unable to access the repair options menu. I don't know what to do.
