Created some encrypted files a few years ago, size 5GB and 10GB with Truecryot and some with Veracrypt.
When I now tried to open them I found out all of them very EMPTY???!!!
Why? What happend? Any way to fix them?
What can I contribute with to make the troubleshooting more easy?

This could be a Microsoft ownership and/or permission issue likely due to the user ID number (SID) is different than the old user ID number that was used on the file container from a previous Windows OS installation (not upgrade) or using a different user account.
You are going to need to Google search Windows permissions and ownership on files.
Different folders can have different permissions and ownership permissions for user accounts in Windows that are inherited when you place a file in that folder and moving the file to a different computer will have different user ID associated with the file.
First, using a Windows account that has Administrator privileges, you may need to set the permissions and ownership on the dismounted file container.
Then mount the file container. Using a Windows account that has Administrator privileges, set the permissions and ownership of all the folder and files within the file container.

Not sure if I follow correctly?
I have administrator rights on the computer.
I mount the volume successfully with the right password but the content is 100% empty!?

An example is creating a file container on one computer using the NTFS format and then not being able to see or access the mounted file container on another computer.
Another example is when you reinstall the Windows OS on the same computer.
Another example is using a user account on the same computer when the file container and its files were created from a different user account.
