Not sure if I follow correctly? I have administrator rights on the computer. I mount the volume successfully with the right password but the content is 100% empty!?

Created some encrypted files a few years ago, size 5GB and 10GB with Truecryot and some with Veracrypt. When I now tried to open them I found out all of them very EMPTY???!!! Why? What happend? Any way to fix them? What can I contribute with to make the troubleshooting more easy?
