We had deployed VeraCrypt 1.26.24 and noticed that 1.26.29 is out so we are testing that. We've seen on macOS 15.7.7 and 26.5.1 that after installing 1.26.29 that sometimes the menu bars for the application are invisible (see atteched screen shot). Nobody has mentioned similar behavior with 1.26.24, so we aren't sure if this is a new issue with .29 or possible something on our end (none of the other applications we test show this behavior.
For completeness to the developer, please provide the hardware that your tests have encountered problems with VeraCrypt 1.26.29 of the sporadic missing menu bars.
Oddly, the systems on 26.5.1 did show the problem, but stopped showing the problem after a reboot (for now at least). the 15.7.7 systems have been consistently showing the blank menus

We use macFUSE (5.2.0 -- current prod version) for some legacy reasons. However, I would be surprised that this is what is causing the vanishing menu bars in the application when just launching it?

Also, FWIW, we reverted back to 1.26.24 -- and see the same thing on 15.7.7 (multiple systems). So maybe some 15.x update did this during the last year?

@stevemaser: I would like you to test disabling screen capture protection in VeraCrypt to see if it helps. Maybe latest macOS introduced an issue in the use of their API related to this.
Please exist VeraCrypt if it is running and start it using Terminal with the command:

Hardware the issue seen on:
1) 3.3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 iMac (15.7.7)
2) Apple M2 Pro mini (15.7.7)
3) Apple M1 MacBook Pro (15.7.7)
Interestingly not seen on an Apple M1 iMac or an Apple M4 mini or an Apple M2 mini (all running 26.5.1)
So it's possible this is just a macOS 15 issue (we got the reports from our QA people...)
Oddly, the systems on 26.5.1 did show the problem, but stopped showing the problem after a reboot (for now at least). the 15.7.7 systems have been consistently showing the blank menus
@stevemaser
What version of FUSE-T are you using on the various MacOSes with macFUSE uninstalled?

/Applications/VeraCrypt.app/Contents/MacOS/VeraCrypt --allow-screencaptureIf the issue doesn't reproduce with this, then macOS 15.7.7 introduced a regression in the related macOS API.
Interesting, that does launch an application window -- and the menu bars are visible.
But quitting that and running the application from the Finder -- no menu bars.
(I'm not a user of the application, so I can't tell you directly if 15.7.7 (vs any other version of 15) caused this behavior or not.
