I wanted to update the software to the latest version on my windows 11 machine. The .exe file tells me that I have to use the .msi installer when I want to update.
I downloaded VeraCrypt_Setup_x64_1.26.29.msi and tried to run it but got the message
This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.
If there is no quick fix, how would I proceed with the installation .exe after extracting?
