option 2 "allow trim command for non-system ss partition/drive"
option 3 "enable extended disk control codes support"
//////////
what i understand, thank you for correcting me or confirming it to me
option 1 ("block trim command on system partition/drive"):
-if the hard drive as only 1 partition and that this partition is the system partition = block trim command on the entire hard drive
-if the hard drive as 1 system partition and other partitions (non-system) = block trim command only on the system partition
option 2 ("allow trim command for non-system ss partition/drive"):
-if the hard drive as only 1 partition and that this partition is the system partition = do nothing
-if the hard drive as only 1 partition (non-system) = allow trim command on the entire hard drive
-if the hard drive as 1 system partition and other partitions (non-system) = allow trim command only on the non-system partitions
option 3 ("enable extended disk control codes support")
-i understand nothing to this
//////////
my setup:
1 internal hard drive (efi secure boot / gpt):
-p1 efi boot (260mo) (unencrypted)
-p2 winpe (rescue media) (unencrypted)
-p3 windows/system (private data)(encrypted)
-p4 data (public data/unencrypted)) AND files containers (a selection of files from "p3 windows/system (private data)" (if modifications are made, creation of a new containers)
1 internal hard drive (mbr)
-p1 data (public data/unencrypted)) (copy of p4 from internal hard drive 1)
2 external hard drive (mbr)
-p1 winpe (rescue media) (unencrypted)
-p2 data (public data/unencrypted)) AND files containers (a selection of files from "p3 windows/system (private data)" (if modifications are made, creation of a new containers)
/////
later i will replace hard drive with ssd (2 internal / 2 external)

about the 3 options
what are the implications in terms of longevity (does it use the storage medium faster? (hdd / ssd)?
what are the implications in terms of reliability / stability (bsod & co)?
what are the implications in terms of security (encryption & co)?
what are the implications in terms of speed of the storage medium?
thanks for the clarifications
