I added two encrypted non-system partitions to favorite volumes with the "Mount selected volume upon logon" option enabled. Every reboot those two volumes are mounted on incorrect drive letters. After the last reboot Veracrypt chose to mount one volume on E:, while the volumes are assigned letters G: and O:.
I tried to enable the "Use Volume ID to mount favorite" option, but it didn't help.
After I dismount incorrectly mounted volumes I can mount them manually (from the main Veracrypt dialog, by choosing letter, partition and pressing "Mount" button) to the correct letters.
What can I try to make Veracrypt mounting the volumes on the same letter every time?
I use Veracrypt 1.21 on Windows 8.1 64-bit. The system disk was encrypted earlier, but now it is decrypted.

Thank you for your answer. I tried all the methods in the linked message without success.
I'm sorry, it's my fault that I wrote the problem description by memory, and it was incomplete.
It turned out I have "Mount all device-hosted Veracrypt volumes" option enabled, and Veracrypt tried to mount the volumes on the first available letter first before processing Favorite Volumes list.
However, now that I've disabled the forementioned option Veracrypt does not try to mount the volumes after logon at all. I cleared the Favorite Volumes list and added the volumes there again, the only options enabled for them are "Use Volume ID to mount favorite", "Mount selected volume upon logon" and a specific "PKCS-5 PRF". Veracrypt starts after logon but does absolutely nothing. It mounts the volumes successfully after choosing Favorites->"Mount Favorites Volumes" option in the application menu.
Can you please suggest how to enable automount for the favorite volumes?

The only way to auto mount the VeraCrypt volumes to specific drive letter(s) is to use System Encryption and add the volumes to the System Favorite volumes. The volumes would need to use the same password and PIM values (no keyfiles) to match the password/PIM of the encrypted system partition/drive.

Remove the volumes from Favorites.
Then try each of the three options in my post linked below until issue is resolved. Be sure to reboot after each fix attempt.
