There was a packaging mistake...I forgot (again) to update the version field in XML files to match version 1.24-Update2-RC.
I will reupload in 1 or 2 hours correct installers (same binaries, just XML files will change).
Meanwhile you can manually edit XML files to correct the version field at the top of the files.

@pidibi952834 This RC release is just to share with early adopters a build that is similar to the 1.24-Update2 that I intend to release in order to detect any obvious bugs or issues.
usually I followthe beta channel process but here it is a little bit confusing because I decided to stick with 1.24. After 1.24-Update2, I will go back to usual beta process.

@vhvu4a I don't have access to a Raspberry Pi to do the ARM build. Before, it was Alex who took care of it but he doesn't have time these days so an ARM build is lacking.
That being said, it should be easy to build VeraCrypt yourself if you are running Linux (like Raspbian): just install build dependencies and then run make. Of course, for non technical people that can be challenging.

I have uploaded Linux and MacOSX packages.
@enigma2illusion Thank you for pointing out this typo. I will fix it tomorrow.
hi, just a question
this "rc release" is on "final channel" or on the "beta channel"
for me, i think it's not
i think that a little clarification regarding the naming of the versions is necessary to integrate in the pdf manual
ex:
***beta channel
alpha>beta>rc
v1.0_alpha_1>v1.0_alpha_2>...>v1.0_beta_1>v1.0_beta_2>...>v1.0_rc_1>v1.0_rc_2>...
***final channel
v1.0>v1.0.1>v1.0.2>...
v1.0>v1.1>v1.2>...
v1.0>v1.0_hot_fix_1>v1.0_hot_fix_2>...
thks
