Hello together,

I would like to use VeraCrypt for my software to create encrypted container files.
Am I allowed to sell this software without publishing my source code?

Facts:

  • VeraCrypt will be unmodified
  • I will use the command line parameter to call the functions.
  • VeraCrypt is only a small component of the software I want to distribute, does this mean I will not form another product out of VeraCrypt?
  • I won't publish my source code.

I've already read the license agreements of VeraCrypt.
I think Chapter II.1 defines my concern:
[...] You may make copies of This Product (unmodified) and distribute copies of This Product (unmodified) that are not included in another product forming Your Product [...].

I'm not sure if I form my product by using it as a small component.
Maybe someone can help me. Thanks!
