    Hello,
Can someone help me? I cannot find other topics that has this error.
I am using OpenSuse Leap 15.1 and I cannot mount my wholly encrypted external drive. The whole partition was encrypted in Windows and I succesfully mounted it using the same OS.

Now whether I use the GUI or in terminal the same error occur.

    sudo veracrypt --mount /dev/sdb1
sudo: unable to open /var/lib/sudo/ts/NaN: Read-only file system
    [sudo] password for root:
    Enter mount directory [default]: 2
    Enter password for /dev/sdb1:
    Enter PIM for /dev/sdb1:
    Enter keyfile [none]:
Protect hidden volume (if any)? (y=Yes/n=No) [No]:
Error: Failed to create a file or directory in a temporary directory.

Please make sure that the temporary directory exists, its security permissions allow you to access it, and there is sufficient disk space:
    /tmp/.veracrypt_aux_mnt256

I found the problem is the system, because it is mounted as read only.
I can't change the folder permissions or change anything using the file manager. And then I got AMD-VI bug after restart.

    This problem is solved.
