Hi, I'm trying to use VeraCrypt to backup my PC to Google Drive.
I'm using Drive File Stream to mount Google Drive to G: but it displays as a FAT32 disk.
I have tried to move a 5GB file to that disk and it works, but VeraCrypt won't let me create a container there because it thinks the maximum allowed size is 4GB.
How can I force it to do that?
I thought I could create the volume on a NTFS disk and then move it to Google Drive but if I need something like 10TB volume I can't do that because I don't have any 10TB physical drive.

    Hi Enea,

I'm not familiar with using Google Drive, so this might be a long shot workaround. Try creating a modestly-sized encrypted container, internally formatted as NTFS, and then move the container to Google Drive. Make sure the container is still mountable and then unmount it. Then use the VeraCrypt expander tool and see if the container can be expanded while residing in the Google Drive cloud space. If successful, this would allow you to have an encrypted cloud container larger than what your local hard drive can host. Oh, I almost forgot -- before that last step, cross your fingers for a little extra luck.

Thank you, I tried with a 5GB volume and it mounts and unmounts fine while onn Google Drive, but when I try to expand it I get just a "!" without an error explanation (https://imgur.com/i78nmXH).
