Is there anyway to "remove all partitions on the device to enable VeraCrypt to format it safely" on macOS 26?
In the past, I have had software that could do this. Currently, I am unable to get iPartition to run. I have a new computer and moving iPartition over didn't work for some reason and I can't get the license to work..
So, can I do this. In the past my drives had no partitions. I originally could perform this with Disk Utility. I have used differnt methods. Is there any partition software that runs on apple silicon that can acomplish this task?
Thank you... The software is great at saying what needs to be done, but that clearly does not mean it is at all possible. Perhaps if I used a windows machine to do this. Currently, I do not have one.

Where disk999 is replaced with the actual device name.
I am testing now...
Looks good so far...
Waiting for it to finish. Amazing speed with a 4TB SSD. Put the drive on a metal plate of some kind to help with dissipating the heat.

So, that worked, certainly no reason for any partion software to delete all partitions.
The next question that is related. The command, which takes longer but not as long as a full VeraCrypt Format:
sudo diskutil randomDisk disk999
Where disk999 is replaced with the actual device name.
This prints random chacters on the whole drive. The question: is there any reason to not use this followed by a quick format? This prepares the drive by deleting all partitions and prints random characters at the same time. This assumes the drive is new. It would seem that this will be much faster than a full VeraCrypt format. Does the full VeraCrypt format as opposed to the quick format assure data integrity.
