Hi,
I use multi-partition multi-system UEFI bootable USB flash drives. There is always fat32 ESP partition with rEFInd boot manager and many other partitions: ntfs for storage, fat32 for iso's content and finally linux f2fs & nilfs2 partitions.
Thinking about encryption I've installed VeraCrypt on main drive W10 and I'm checking options & reading.
I understand and see from available options there is no problem with encrypted file volume or encrypting (either from scratch or in-place) my NTFS data partition. I can of course also encrypt/create encrypted fat32 volumes=partitions and probably? install VeraCrypt on linux distros on linux partitions and encrypt them.
However can I have overall USB drive encryption? I mean if I format one of my sticks (GPT is used) & encrypt it would it be possible to make partitions and format them any way I want later?
And what is important, there should be possibility to have VeraCrypt efi file as boot bootx64.efi file which later after password check is starting another efi file (in my case rEFInd efi).
in general this is of course design as on main drive with VeraCrypt efi launching windows efi, install is automated however. By standard my USB stick is not seen as 'system drive' (even if it is) but maybe I could accomplish what I want 'manually'?
EDIT: probably what I partially need is VeraCrypt efi with my encryption details (efi to launch could have changed name to windows bootmgr.efi 'style') however I do not see the option to make such the efi.
Question2
I have multi-boot main drive which is not seen as multi-boot (probably because I am not using grub?), options 'hidden' & 'encrypt the whole drive" are grayed out in Volume Creation Wizard.
Here also there is question, if I use non-standard boot manager I understand it is too complicated? to include all possibilities in automated Creator but why they are in fact grayed out? (this is drive with two main ntfs partition including system one and also some ext4 partitions + standard W10 Recovery + ESP part.)

Dear Jsf,
It is sad to see such interesting topic without replies. Would you share with us how you solved this issue with multiple encrypted partitions?
Thanks!
