I am trying to encrypt a 3TB HDD on win10pro (ntfs). at 61.825% of encryption I get a message (in german, that translates to):
The media is write protected.

I paused and restarted it with no change. beforehand the HDD was encrypted with Bitlocker, but I decrypted it before starting Veracrypt on it. Any idea on how to fix that?
