Hello, I need help trying to figure out how to get back into my VeraCrypt volume. I copied the volume in a documents folder and pasted it into another documents folder. I deleted it out of the original folder. After I did that I tried to mount the folder and I get this message.... Error: Incorrect volume size.... Source: MountVolume:6955

Did I lose my volume? I'm using VeraCrypt version 1.16

I have over 30GB in there and really need it back. Thanks.

Two documents folders on the same PC? Have you tried reversing the operation?

Yes, I moved from one document folder to another on same PC. After I found out it wasn't mounting in the folder I moved it to I put it back into the original. I think it got deleted. I tried pretty much everything I could think of. Even tried Recuva.. not sure if that program can even pick up encrypted files... didn't work for me.

I am having a somewhat similar problem. I had a hard drive crash, previous to which my volume was fully functional. I paid a recovery group to get all my data off my hard drive, which they were able to recover fortunately to an external hard drive, however when I open Veracrypt and try to mount the recovered volume I get the "error: Incorrect Volume Size, Source: mountVolume8306. " I am desperate to get some help to figure out why I cannot load my volume - I'd pay anyone if anyone has any ideas please!!
