Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, so apologies in advance if this is a simple(ton) error. I have used TrueCrypt in the past and when volumes have been mounted - either from a container file or an encrypted disk - the volume shows up as a fixed disk in Windows and is searchable / indexable by the program "Everything" (https://www.voidtools.com/support/everything/).

I have recently tried using VeraCrypt to create an encrypted container file, but when I mount it, the file is not showing up for indexing and search using Everything ... in fact, it does not even show up as a fixed disk under Windows Disk Management. I can see the assigned drive letter and browse files using Explorer. Programs work and files can be opened. I just can't search it with Everything.

I realize this may appear to be a minor complaint, there are other ways to search for files ... but Everything is so much faster than, well, just about anything !!

If I'm simply not making some appropriate setting selection, please enlighten me.
