Hi,
i have updated the bios of my lenovo notebook, and since that windows falls back into recovery mode during boot. I can boot up windows with the recovery drive, but somehow i cannot restore the bootloader. I have tried restoring both boot loader binaries and configuration files, but windows still boots to recovery.
The windows veracrypt app does not seem to have any options to restore the bootloader.
Any suggestions? Also, is it normal that bios update damages the bootloader?
Thanks

Had the exact same problem today! Solution:
Go to Command Prompt (CMD) and type
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\VERACRYPT\DCSBOOT.EFI
Press Enter and reboot then.
