No

Hello, my radar dots move strange, but not al off them, its with all sensors i bought

Is this the be considered as a bug? :

the dot keeps shifting from one place back to another, repeatedly.
it looks very rumbly and not as a feature for mid-space-jumps
it looks like 'dancing dots'
i only found:
[quote="pheonixstorm"]Sounds good. The jittering hyper dots are funny to look at. In one new game 6 of them dancing away. Looked like a I had a radar waltz going on.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, I can't make an accurate idea of the kind of movement you refer to.

If it's like brownian motion, in small scale (ie: small random shifting that looks like noise), that's probably the effect of ECM (other ships') on your radar.

If it's dots moving large distances in large groups at the beginning of space flight (when launching), that's probably due to synchronicity of large-step physics simulations that happens right at the start of the game (physics updates tend to get desynchronized later so you ships don't move all together like that anymore, yet they still move in large steps when you're not looking).

If it's something else, I've never seen it.

Thanks for the 'brownian' link. it looks a bit like that but on a narrow scale.
ECM of other ships you say?
then its not a bug but just an irritating view

    I just did a kind of 'nono-tetst'
In midspace i set 'spec' and 'auto' off. then i manualy move the cursor to a heavy 'dancing' dot.
The more its in targeted, in the little white circle, the more steady the dot is.
And when 100% targeted, in the middel of the croshair, its totaly steady and not moving at all
I tried it with several dots and it works with all like that, so the ECM thing might be correct and its not a bug.
    But its irritating for me.

Well, ECM is supposed to irritate the enemy.

I guess we could try to make it less noisy, so it doesn't look so flashy.
