First, I'm not sure if this gamma correction is applicable to translucent
colors at all, even in non-premultiplied space. I got the correct result only
when I operated with the final RGB buffer, ready to display (or RGBA, but with
alpha ignored). But I may be missing something. Second, demultiply/premultiply
is pretty expensive compared with simple lookup operations.
