[AGG] Agg repo and docs

I was really pleased to stumble upon the agg-2.4 branch in
http://agg.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/agg/agg-2.4/ which has been updated
as recently as a couple of days ago. Although finding it involved a fair
amount of searching and trawling through mailing-list archives.

I was especially pleased to find that some of the READMEs etc. were more
clear and I found it much easier to build the examples using the current
state of that branch when compared to what is available in the 2.4 release
via antigrain.com.

My question is whether there is any documentation, or at least a link, for
the latest code in the agg-2.4 branch somewhere?



I also wanted to highlight (it may be entirely correct) that
http://sourceforge.net/projects/agg/ states:

"As of 2005-05-19, this project is no longer under active development."



Not knowing anything about the changes that have gone on since the 2.4
license "fork" is there any value in making a release of what is in the
agg-2.4 branch under a new name (or simply a point release agg-2.4.1)?



It is not my intention to turn up here and make work for anybody, I just
wanted to share some observations from someone fresh to the Agg code. I
hope that is useful.
