Using VDub2 for VHS capture of old family videos. Would be nice to have basic timed capture to allow unmonitored capturing. I found very old references to an add-on called VDStart but links are dead. Would this be difficult to implement? Have users found other ways to stop capture after a certain time period? This would add tremendous convenience. Thanks!!

It seems you can start capture from command line. /capstart switch can also specify how long to capture.
Once you figure out the command line you can run it with some 3rd party planner (maybe just windows scheduler).

Stop capture after some number of seconds has existed in VirtualDub for ages.

Capture -> Stop conditions... -> Capture time exceeds X seconds.

The Acccept button will use the setting until you close VirtualDub. I prefer this option.
The Save button will cause the setting to persist.

My request for this ticket would be to change the timescale of this feature to minutes instead, or add a drop-down to choose units.
