Thanks for pointing this out Marco. There is actually a bug that prevents the "run as" user's primary group from being added when vchanger drops root privileges. I've added a ticket on Sourceforge and it will be fixed in the next release. For now, your fix, setting Group=bacula in vchanger.conf, is a good workaround.
