Evidently no. ;-)


For a sake of a test, i've put in vchanger config file 'group = bacula', and
all started to work.

In debian user 'bacula' have primary group 'bacula', but IS member of group
'tape'.
Evidently when vchanger changes user and group to bacula:tape, something
goes wrong, or the new process was not able to read bconsole.conf (640,
root:bacula) even with user bacula that is in group bacula. Boh.


Anyway, finally understood and solved. ;-)
