Thanks. I was able to fix the bug in my program, so I'll pack this away for future reference. I'm trying to replace the 'init' program with a c program that starts a Java VM directly (yes, I'm really doing this). I'm wondering about any special constraints placed on 'init' because I'm unable to make this work. The standalone program works outside of UML, but as 'init', it hangs during the creation of the jvm. This may not be the right place, but if you happen to have any pointers, I'd appreciate it.
