Hi Jeff etc, I still haven't got UML working on PPC, and still intend to and occasionally have a poke at it. (How's the IA64 port, incidentally?) The work on a Win32 port has renewed my enthusiasm, or at least determination. :-) Attached is a smallish patch with a couple extra files in sys[dep]-ppc and a couple of tweaks for PPC, and a patch with a couple of changes in include/asm-um. They seem safe! I hope to trickle in small patches every now and then whenever I get a bit of time, if that's ok. I think that'll be more successful than doing everything in one go, as it means I can keep up with the current state-of-the-art. There's a line reading "define_bool CONFIG_X86 y" in arch/um/config.in - am I right in thinking that that (and the line after it regarding CONFIG_ISA) is something which ought to depend on the subarch?
