I recently tangled with this (or a closely related) problem in GUML. I think you'll find that the UML isn't actually hanging, it's just that no output is produced. The way I solved the problem was to ensure that the standard input of the UML process is closed. A quick run through the bash manpage suggests that echo something | ./linux ...... <&-=20 should be a suitable invocation. Give it a whirl, if it doesn't work you're only out a few keystrokes.=20 <grin> - Matt |
