Late, but here they are, the answers: I have skas patched a clean 2.6.1 host kernel with 00-combo-v8 (SMP and=20 Highmem enabled) , and a clean 2.4.24 client kernel with uml-patch-2.4.23-2. The host did not = notice anything=20 regarding the crash, no Oops or something else in /var/log/messages. This=20 is also true for=20 the client, no oops to find. =20 If you have an idea despite of this spare information, i would appreciate. Have you skas patched the host? There has been a lot of non-correct host=20 patches. Would you post anything in /var/log/messages about the crash (kernel oops=20 and=20 such things) and the URL of the patch you used? Probably you could successfully try this one: http://www.user-mode-linux.org/~blaisorblade/index.html#2=5F6=5Fhost Read well the content since there is more than one patch to apply.
