NFS exportability isn't automatic; note that you need to define the s_export_op superblock field at a minimum. And you need to have some way of encoding filehandles that makes it easy to find the inodes they refer to when the client sends them back to you. This is likely to be highly non-trivial in the case of hostfs, because the underlying filesystems it exports can be so different. --Bruce Fields |
