I'm still having tons of trouble with this. My latest information is that RH 8.0 has SKAS support compiled into the vendor kernel already--at least, UML sees /proc/mm and says the skas3 patch is running in the host. But I'm having a very hard time compiling a UML kernel from the vendor source tree. I've copied the config from: /usr/src/linux-2.4.18-24.8.0/configs/kernel-2.4.18-i686-uml.config into the source tree, but since there's nothing in arch, running 'make ARCH=um menuconfig' doesn't work. How can I build a skas3 uml kernel from the Red Hat vendor source? -- The Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM) is now available via BitTorrent at http://bittorent.codegnome.org/bittorrent/ |
