Hi, I'm not sure if this is a UML problem or a tun/tap problem, so I've sent this to both lists. I get this error: Configuring eth0: ifconfig eth0 10.100.10.2 broadcast netmask 255.255.255.0 tuntap_open_tramp failed - errno = 22 All I can get from google is to replace a kernel header. I've done that (I'm using kernel 2.4.19, all kernel headers are 2.4.19, etc.) with no change in behaviour. I am using nearly identical kernels on both host and UML. I do have /dev/net/tun (and added /dev/net/tap, just to see) with the proper major/minor numbers (10/200). I am at a loss. Any pointers, suggestions, or URLs would be appreciated. Thanks. --m...@de... |
