I saw some files being updated about the mm-code or some stuff like that. > >redhat72 login: Kernel panic: kernel BUG at sched.c:559! > > Can you rebuild the UML kernel with debugging support and run it with > the 'debug' option to get a backtrace? > sure! Oh, i just discoverred another bug or maybe a symptom of the last one: ------------ Bringing up interface eth0: ./ifup: line 243: 276 Segmentation fault ip link set ${REALDEVICE} up Failed to bring up eth0. ------------ All i know is, that ifup normally not segfaults ;) Arg... after disabling the auto-confed eth0 it didn't crash again (when watching with gdb). It looks like i can't crash it while running in debug mode. It crashed at 'Bringing up interface eth0: ./ifup: line 243: 279 Segmentation fault' when starting with gdb. When disabling the init-script for eth0 it goes to the login prompt without crashing. Sorry, i couldn't produce a backtrace :( I don't know if it helps, but i attached the uml-kernel config to this mail. cya -- Robin Redeker el...@x-... http://www.x-paste.de/ irc: irc.x-paste.de:6667 #opers -- David -- David Coulson http://davidcoulson.net/ d...@vi... http://journal.davidcoulson.net/ |
